OVERVIEW

How our revision policy works

Fair, simple, and built around one rule: the original brief is the reference point for every change.

Writing is rarely perfect the first time. That is why every order at BuyAssignmentOnline includes free, unlimited revisions. You can request changes as many times as you need, without paying anything extra — as long as the original topic and instructions remain the same.

Revisions are handled by the same writer who produced the first draft. That way, the writer can respond to your feedback with full context on what you originally asked for and what has already been delivered.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Everything you need, included free

Unlimited & free

Request as many rounds of revisions as you need at no additional cost, as long as the original topic is unchanged.

Same writer each time

Your original writer handles every revision, so you never re-explain the context or restart the research.

Clear feedback channel

Submit revisions through your order portal. You can highlight specific sections, attach marker comments, or ask for a full re-work of a paragraph.

Fast turnaround

Most revisions are returned within 24–48 hours. Urgent revisions with tight deadlines are prioritised immediately.

SCOPE

What is (and is not) covered

One simple test: does the original topic and brief stay the same? If yes, it is a free revision. If no, it is a new order.

What counts as a free revision

Anything that refines the paper within the scope of your original brief. That includes:

  • Rewording sentences for tone, clarity, or style
  • Restructuring paragraphs or sections
  • Adding or replacing citations with different sources
  • Adjusting formatting, referencing style, or word count
  • Responding to marker feedback on a draft
  • Strengthening argument or analysis within the original thesis
  • Correcting any factual inaccuracies or technical errors
  • Expanding a section or trimming for word-count compliance

What counts as a new order (not a free revision)

If the fundamental brief changes, it is no longer a revision — it is a new piece of work. That includes:

  • Changing the topic, research question, or thesis statement
  • Adding new sections not in the original brief (e.g. a methodology chapter to a research proposal)
  • Adding 500+ words to the required word count
  • Switching referencing style after the paper has been delivered
  • Asking for a fundamentally different essay type (e.g. argumentative → reflective)
  • Requesting translation into another language

When in doubt, ask your writer or support team. They will confirm whether your request falls under free revisions or requires a new order — before any extra cost is raised.

HOW TO REQUEST

Five steps to request a revision

How to request a revision

  1. Open your order portal. Every order has a dedicated revisions tab.
  2. Describe the change. Be specific — highlight the section, paste the marker's comment, or quote the paragraph you want reworked. Clear feedback leads to faster, more accurate revisions.
  3. Attach evidence if relevant. Marker feedback, an updated rubric, or a draft with your own notes all help the writer understand what you need.
  4. Set a deadline. Most revisions are returned within 24–48 hours. If you need something sooner, tell us and we will prioritise.
  5. Review and approve. When you are happy with the result, click Approve. If not, request another round — free.

Tips for efficient revisions

  • Bundle your feedback. Sending one clear list of changes works better than many small messages.
  • Quote specific passages. “Expand on the 2nd paragraph, page 3” is much clearer than “add more detail”.
  • Share marker comments verbatim. If your tutor has given feedback on a draft, paste it in — writers can respond to it directly.
  • Flag urgent revisions early. If you have 12 hours until submission, message support the moment you know.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions about revisions

No. Revisions are unlimited for free as long as the original topic and instructions stay the same.
Immediately after delivery, and for as long as you have not yet approved the order. Most students start revisions the same day.
Yes — unless that writer is unavailable, in which case we assign a senior editor with equivalent subject qualifications.
That counts as a new order, not a revision. We will provide a quote for the updated scope, which you can accept or decline.
Once you click Approve, the order is closed. You can still request a light revision as a courtesy, but it is no longer covered under the free-revisions guarantee and the money-back policy no longer applies.
Yes. Every revised version goes through the same QA pass as the original — Turnitin, AI-detection, and editor review before it comes back to you.
